Outgoing Student Government Association officers were on hand at the event to honor those newly elected for 2012-2013.

The Student Government Association recently hosted its awards and annual installation banquet honoring its newly elected officers, outstanding faculty, students and graduating seniors.

Elected officers 2012-2013 include:

  • President: Jason Chandrapal, a first-year medical student from Houston. Chandrapal will begin his second year next semester.
  • Vice President of Communications: Dalan Gore, a senior in Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences, who will begin his master’s in the speech language pathology this summer. He is from Tulia.
  • Vice President of Operations: Steven McDonald, currently a first-year student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and will begin his second year next semester. He is from Lubbock.
  • Vice President of Finance: Jonathan R. Ford, currently a second-year medical student. He will begin his third year next semester. He is returning for a second term as vice president of finance and is from Bellville.
