Tech Doc: Traumatic brain injury could lead to visual effects - LubbockOnline.com

In 2010, 2.5 million traumatic brain injuries were diagnosed in the United States. Traumatic brain injuries (TBI) can be a result of falls, motor vehicle accidents, assaults, unintentional blunt trauma or a variety of other events such as sports injuries and blast injuries in the military population. Of the patients that are diagnosed, 60 to 75 percent will report some type of visual complaint.
