Texas Tech launches grad school - El Paso Inc.

Texas Tech has launched El Paso’s first graduate school of biomedical sciences, marking another milestone in the school’s quest to become a full-fledged health sciences university.

“The idea is to try to help develop the local workforce and give students who live in El Paso additional educational opportunities,” Miller says. Since February 2009, Miller has served as associate dean for research at Texas Tech’s Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso.
