Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Receives Acreage

WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) and the Harrington Regional Medical Center Inc. (HRMCI) will announce the donation of 11 acres of land to TTUHSC. The donation will help ensure the continued growth of the TTUHSC campus in Amarillo.

WHEN: 10:30 a.m. Friday (Sept. 23)

WHERE: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, 1400 S. Coulter in Amarillo

EVENT: TTUHSC President Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., will visit Amarillo to announce the donation. Mitchell will be joined by Regional Dean Richard Jordan, M.D., and representatives from HRMCI for this important announcement.

The additional land will allow TTUHSC at Amarillo to expand its current services that include educating future medical professionals, as well as providing first-class medical care to Amarillo and the surrounding communities.
