Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Welcomes New Nursing Dean

WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) will host a reception to welcome the new School of Nursing dean.

WHEN: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday (Jan. 18)

WHERE: TTUHSC Academic Classroom Building first floor lobby, 3601 Fourth St.

EVENT: Michael L. Evans, Ph.D., R.N., a former nursing executive and Texas Tech alumnus, began his new post on Jan. 2.

Yondell Masten, Ph.D., R.N., associate dean and professor and Chandice Covington, Ph.D., R.N., professor and Florence Thelma Hall Endowed Chair for Nursing Excellence in Women's Health, both served terms as dean in the interim.
