TTUHSC to Open New Nursing Building in Abilene

WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) President Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., and Tim Lancaster, president and CEO of Hendrick Health System, will host a ribbon cutting for the new TTUHSC School of Nursing building in Abilene.

WHEN: 8:30 a.m. Friday (March 1)

WHERE: TTUHSC School of Nursing Building, 1674 Pine St., Abilene

EVENT: A community reception will follow the ribbon cutting.

Editor’s note: Mitchell will lead a tour of the schools of nursing and pharmacy and the building’s new laboratory space at 8 a.m. Mitchell, Texas Tech University System Chancellor Kent Hance, and School of Nursing Regional Dean Pearl Merritt will be available for interviews following the ribbon cutting ceremony.
