TTUHSC Ranked Nationally in Minority Health Sciences Degrees
This School of Medicine ranked eigth in the nation.
Diverse: Issues in Higher Educationranked Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) as one of the top 100 producers of minority health sciences degrees in the nation.
The School of Medicine ranked eighth in the nation when compared to other medical schools. The School of Nursing ranked seventh in bachelor’s degrees in nursing research and clinical nursing and 42nd with their master’s degree program. The School of Pharmacy also ranked 21st in pharmaceutical sciences.“

The School of Pharmacy ranked 21st in pharmaceutical sciences.
The data for the Top 100 list is compiled by Rhonda V. Sharpe, Ph.D., founder and president of the Women’s Institute for Science, Equity and Race. The data for the Top 100 comes from the Completion Survey of the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System collected by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics.
