Visual Human Body Presentation From the Inside Out

WHAT: As a part of the Early Dedication to Medical Education (EDME) program, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine Office of Admissions will host a presentation about the human body and its different organs. EDME is for all high school students who have an interest in the medical field.

WHEN: 6 p.m. Oct. 21

WHERE: TTUHSC Academic Classroom Building, 3601 Fourth St., Room 100

EVENT: EDME’s goal is to build a connection between high school students and the TTUHSC School of Medicine by offering programs introducing students to the medical school experience. Potential students learn how to prepare for medical school, gain knowledge about requirements for medical schools, are exposed to the admissions process, and learn how to pursue internships and summer programs.
