West Texas Assessment Conference

WHAT: The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Office of Institutional Planning and Assessment and the Texas Tech University Office of Planning and Assessment will co-host the inaugural West Texas Assessment Conference to bring together higher education professionals throughout West Texas to share ideas and information about accreditation and assessment.

WHEN: Tuesday (Oct. 16)

WHERE: McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center, 1700 University Ave.

EVENT: The one-day conference includes four blocks of concurrent sessions on topics related to regional accreditation requirements, assessment of student learning outcomes and assessment of instructional and non-instructional programs in higher education, including the new Texas Core Curriculum and implementation of quality enhancement plans across institutions.

The TTUHSC Office of Institutional Planning and Assessment supports achievement of the university’s mission of education, patient care and outreach, by promoting institutional effectiveness through ongoing, systematic planning and assessment efforts.
