I am Dr. Abdelrahman R. Alsaleh, an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. I am U.S. fellowship-trained and hold dual certification from the Arab Board and European Board in Otolaryngology. I completed my medical education at Ain Shams University in Egypt, followed by an internship in Jordan and an otolaryngology residency at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. I then pursued advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (2023–2024).
I also hold a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Edinburgh and remain passionate about teaching, research, and surgical innovation, with expertise in laser, microscopic, and endoscopic surgery. Beyond my academic and clinical work, I have co-authored international publications and textbook chapters, and I am actively engaged in humanitarian efforts through the International Organization for Migration and Operation Smile. Fluent in Arabic, English, and proficient in Spanish, I am committed to advancing patient-centered care, medical education, and global health initiatives.
