Graduate Certificate in Public Health - Online

The Julia Jones Matthews School of Population and Public Health currently offers two graduate certificates. These include a graduate certificate in public health and a graduate certificate in epidemiology. Both certificates require 12 hours.

These certificates are available for students who wish to have an extra credential, but who already possess or may not be ready to pursue a master's degree.

Program Overview

The Julia Jones Matthews School of Population and Public Health is proud to offer the Graduate Certificate in Public Health. Training emphasizes the knowledge and skills of core public health fields and the integration and application of those fields to public health practice. This certificate will provide students with the foundational knowledge, skills, and values needed to succeed in careers that bridge public health.

The certificate program is for students who wish to have an extra credential and may already have a master's degree or or not ready to  pursue one. This 12 credit hour program is offered online and courses taken may be applied to our 45 credit hour MPH if so desired.
