Grad student invited to share work
Kshitij Verma, a Ph.D. candidate who works as a research assistant in the School of Pharmacy’s Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences laboratory of Paul Trippier, Ph.D., made a podium presentation at the American Chemical Society (ACS) Southwest Regional Meeting (SWRM) Oct. 29 – Nov. 1 in Lubbock, Texas. His abstract was titled, “Discovery of highly potent and selective inhibitor of AKR1C3 for the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer and acute myeloid leukemia.”
