Grief and Response to Illness into Late Life Lab

The Garrison Institute on Aging, Grief and Response to Illness into Late Life (GRILL) Lab
The Garrison Institute on Aging (GIA) Research Division is committed to advancing knowledge about Alzheimer’s disease (AD), other forms of dementia, and aging-related health conditions.
The GRILL Lab focuses on understanding and promoting psychological health in later life and serious illness. Our work is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals living with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer and dementia and for the caregivers and families who support them.
Through research on grief, biopsychosocial processes, and the development of scalable, evidence-based interventions, we aim to translate science into meaningful, accessible support for those navigating aging and illness.
