Healthcare Management Admissions Requirements
BSHM Admissions Information
The BSHM program's enrollment period occurs three times a year, in the Summer, Fall and Spring. Please visit the SHP Application page for deadline information. The online application and all supporting documentation must be received by the deadline.
- Online Application
Applicants for the BSHM program must complete the TTUHSC SHP application. Additional forms will be added to your checklist after you have submitted the online application. Required supporting documentation (if applicable) can be uploaded from your Student Status page.
- Application Fee
The $75 Application Fee can be paid through the online application by credit card through the online application system. You may also pay by check or money order; mail a check or money order to the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs (3601 4th Street MS 6294, Lubbock, TX 79430). Please make checks and money orders payable to "TTUHSC."
- Official Transcripts
The Office of Admissions and Student Affairs must receive a current, official transcript from every institution that you've attended. If you have attended the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, you only need to send official transcripts from the other institutions you've attended. We will require official Texas Tech University transcripts if you attended their institution. Electronic transcripts should be sent to
firstname.lastname@example.org. Hard copies of official transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from the institution. Please send all hard copies of official transcripts to the following address:

Applicants to the BSHM program must have completed all of the 42 credit hours of the Texas Common Core requirements to be considered for admission to the BSHM program. Additionally applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale effective summer 2019.

Completion of 42 credit hours of Texas Common Core Requirements prior to matriculation.

Certification, licensure or registration in professional field is required for the Healthcare Professional Track.
- Proof of Licensure
If applying for the Healthcare Professional concentration, you will be required to submit proof of licensure for your specific emphasis. This will be submitted through the online application system.
- International Applicants
All foreign coursework must be evaluated by a Foreign Credential Service. We also require TOEFL/IELTS Scores for any applicant for whom English is their second language (scores are considered on a case by case basis). Please refer to our International Applicants webpage for more information and TOEFL/IELTS exemptions.
